The US-American specialists of Pollstar have published their rankings for the last year. Accordingly the top-selling tour worldwide in 2012 has been Madonna’s world tour (with a turnover of 296.1 M. $!) – Yet, Madonna (as we have reported) has not sold most tickets, her tickets were only the most expensive ones! The man with the highest amount of sold tickets in 2012 is Bruce Springsteen: 2,286,395 tickets have been purchased, some of them by members of the ticcats team… The top-selling German band in 2012 have been The Scorpions (with sales figures amounting to 32.7 m. $).
